History of our Practice:
Long Pond Pediatrics was formed in 1989, and was originally owned and operated by Rochester General Hospital. On January 1, 2001, Drs Kiernan, Leddy, O’Brien and Williams separated from Via Health and formed a private practice: Long Pond Pediatrics, LLP.

We are located at 3 Saredon Place Suite 100 in Rochester, NY 14606.

Our Hours:
Phone hours are: Monday – Thursday are 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. Friday 7:30 am – 4:45pm.
For your convenience, we are happy to offer extended office hours Monday – Thursday.
July and August summer hours are announced in June.

Telephone calls- After hours:
The answering service is available for true medical emergencies only.

All non-emergency issues should be addressed during normal business hours.

If your child has a life threatening emergency, call 911. For poisonings call 1-800-222-1222.

Our website can be used during after hours for information on common childhood illnesses, dosing schedules and other helpful instructions.

On weekends and holidays:
One of our providers will be available in the AM only for emergency visits with the exception of Christmas. If your child is ill and you think he/she needs to be seen, please call the answering service between 8:00 am to 10:00 am. A member of our staff, who will be available to assist you, will return your call. If your child is experiencing a true medical emergency, please call 911 or take him / her immediately to a hospital emergency room. We recommend using Golisano’s Children’s Hospital at Strong where there are pediatric doctors and facilities readily available. Always try to call us first so that we can call ahead to the hospital and authorize your Emergency Room visit with your insurance company.

Our caring staff:
Our staff includes five full time pediatricians, two nurse practitioners, pediatric nurses, a practice administrator, office manager, on site billing staff and receptionists. They were selected for their caring, friendly attitudes as well as their highly qualified technical skills. We are committed to understanding the needs of our patients and take pride in our work. Feel free to ask anyone for assistance. We are all here to serve you and your families.

Our commitment to you:
This office is committed to your improved health. Our main emphasis is on prevention. Preventing diseases is more rewarding and less costly than correcting the problem once it occurs. Good health is no accident. It is the result of good habits, proper nutrition, and regular professional care.

Our commitment to education:
The pediatricians at Long Pond Pediatrics have a long history of mentoring medical students, pediatric residents, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students.

Additional services for our teens:
In addition to providing acute and well child care for your child, we are happy to announce that Rose Burnett, C.P.N.P. offers the following services:

-Adolescent Gynecological services
-Smoking Cessation
-Male and female STD testing and counseling services

Prenatal meetings:
We offer prenatal meetings with the physician. This allows you to meet the doctor and ask questions prior to your child’s birth. We will give you a tour of the office and try to answer all questions. We also have some parenting books available for purchase.
